NEC Unit Begins SI Business for Distributors in U.S.
|
January 12, 1999 (TOKYO) -- NEC Corp. announced that its wholly owned
subsidiary DCM Solutions Inc. launched a system integration-related
business Jan. 7 for distributors in the United States.

DCM Solutions, based in Irving, Texas, was founded in December 1998.
Capitalized at US$3 million, the subsidiary offers services related
to system integration (SI), including supervisory work for the processes
from system consultation to maintenance, company officials said.
The NEC unit plans to increase its work force from the current 30 to
110 in fiscal 2002 and it targets sales of US$6 million for fiscal 1999
and US$65 million in fiscal 2002, they said.
J. Timothy Davis, president and CEO of the subsidiary, had worked for
JDA Software Group, and possesses extensive experience in the computer
business.
