Itochu Techno-Science Enters Linux Business

March 19, 1999 (TOKYO) -- Itochu Techno-Science Corp. said it will make
a Japanese version of Linux for UltraSPARC and start distributing it
in May 1999.

The localization will be made jointly with 10 art-ni Corp.
In addition to making a Japanese version, Itochu Techno-Science will
provide a support service with an additional charge for introduction
of Linux and helping customers technical problems.
It will also provide support service for Linux for Intel Corp.'s processors.
Major systems integration vendors such as Itohchu Techno-Science with
expertise in Unix-based system integration have started to offer Linux
support. If these moves gain impetus, there will be an increasing number
of companies that decide to use Linux for their information systems,
market experts said.
