Stratix Devices Provide Platform for Telecom Line Cards

The communications industry is seeing a convergence of data, voice and video. Earlier communication networks that carried data, voice and video separately are now required to communicate with each other for advanced technologies such as VoIP and 3G wireless technology. The need for flexibility has led to an increased demand for programmable logic devices (PLD) to be integrated into such communication systems.
