  • September 25, 1998 (TOKYO) -- Itsuo Sugiyama, president of Netscape Communications Japan Ltd., resigned suddenly on Sept. 21, BizTech News learned.
Masahiro Morimoto, vice president of the U.S. parent company in charge of Japan and the Asia/Pacific regions, will serve as president concurrently. Morimoto and Tetsuyuki Kawatani, who assumed the position of representative director and vice president of Netscape Japan, will share the president's work, according to company sources.
